mlstdbNet is the software that drives the majority of publicly available MLST databases, including those for Neisseria, the largest scheme available.  The software is derived from the original mlstdb package written by Man-Suen Chan (Chan et al, 2001, Bioinformatics, 17, 1077-1083: download source code) and released under the GNU General Public Licence.  This implementation introduces significant improvements, allowing a distributed database structure.
